Daniel is a delightfully weird book, so Dave is planning on hosting two “How to Read Daniel” gatherings: one this month for Daniel 1-6, and one in January for Daniel 7-12.

The first “How to Read Daniel” brunch will be Saturday, October 18th from 10 to 11:30 am, at Citizens' office in the Inner Sunset. Daniel 1-6 reads like a series of bizarre children’s stories, but the chapters relate and interlock in fascinating ways that really open up the themes of the book. Dave will share what he's learning, and we'll discuss together the implications for us today.

We'll provide breakfast tacos & coffee, but childcare will not be provided. Please register at the link below so that we'll have enough food & handouts.
