Night Out on 9th Avenue: Our office is on a block with a ton of amazing dinner spots, so we'll provide childcare at the office from 5 to 8 pm, and any & all Citizens adults can enjoy an evening out together at various Inner Sunset restaurants. Feel free to make a plan with people beforehand, but also feel free to just arrive at the office sometime between 5 and 8 pm, and then whenever there are a few people congregating at the office, that group can make a plan for what restaurant to go to and head out!

Also, on the fourth Sunday of every month, we eat lunch together after service. There are few better ways to be family and make friends than to share food. No need to bring anything -- we've got all the details covered.

Citizens Communities are groups of 6 to 15 individuals who commit to living as family, servants, and missionaries. Each Citizens Community meets on a recurring weekday evening. Time is spent in scripture, reflection, fellowship and discussion to spur one another towards Christ.
Citizens Communities follow a typical school year—August through May, with a break in December. In a city where many are looking for meaningful connection, Citizens Communities offer a space to experience embodied presence and relationship.

***Heads up: we will NOT be having a Sunday gathering at New Traditions School on Sunday, April 26***
Most of us will be at a church-wide retreat! We’ll enjoy beautiful redwoods, games & play, cozy cabins, yummy food, music & reflection, and quality time with each other.

*Heads up* Our Sunday gathering this week (April 19th) will be at Chain of Lakes Meadow (previously Old Speedway Meadow) in Golden Gate Park, because New Traditions School is having a festival that day.
We'll still be meeting at 10 am and the flow will be very similar to our usual Sunday morning liturgy. Kids & youth will have games & activities with leaders, and there’s a parking lot and nearby restrooms.
Come worship with us in God’s beautiful creation!

Good Friday, along with Christmas and Easter, is the most important day of the Christian calendar, when we remember the vicarious death of Christ on our behalf. We’ll be gathering with folks from Christ Church at the Prayerbook Cross in Golden Gate Park for an evening meal and service.
We’ll begin with dinner at 5:30 pm at the picnic area behind the Blue Heron Lake Picnic Area., and then at 6 pm we’ll all begin making our way through the Stations of the Cross, along the pathway up the hill. The service will be at the top of the hill from 6:30 to 7:30 pm. Childcare will be available for children under 5 years old. Please RSVP here.
If you’re driving, park on Transverse Drive and walk east on JFK towards the cross.
