Christmas is one of the most important days of the year for Christians, when God the Son took on flesh for us and our salvation. But for most people, the holiday season is so busy and hectic that it’s hard to give Christmas its due weight. In an effort to beat the rush, we’re starting Advent early in hopes of preparing our hearts for this most joyous of seasons. Join us as we walk through the seven historic “O Antiphons,” ancient poems which use Old Testament metaphor to capture our deep need and longing for Christ.
