The Importance of Hope (Romans 8:24-25)

We just moved back inside to our old home, New Traditions Elementary School! You can find more information about our Sunday gatherings on this page.

Summary

Biblical hope is a confident expectation based upon a sure foundation for which we wait with full and complete confidence. Our sure foundation in Romans 8 is the faithful ministry of the Holy Spirit, the same Spirit that raised Christ from the dead. Listen as Rob McIlvoy explains to us the dynamics of hope--what it means for our present and our future.

Text

Romans 8:24–25

For in this hope we were saved. Now hope that is seen is not hope. For who hopes for what he sees? But if we hope for what we do not see, we wait for it with patience. (ESV)
