Daniel Part 1: Chapters 1-6
This piece reflects Daniel’s faithful obedience in his high-pressure position of influence within the Babylonian empire, represented by the dark spear. He lived at the tip of danger, where obedience to God came at great personal risk, yet his faithful resistance allowed light to radiate into the darkness. Daniel’s actions are part of a much larger story where God is already at work, preparing to defeat darkness and establish an eternal kingdom. The warm dawn symbolizes this unfolding plan of a kingdom advancing even in exile. Daniel’s obedience and God’s deliverance became a beacon of hope for the people, and also points to the coming victory of God over all empires.

Listen as Dave speaks from Daniel chapter 3 about a proper response to sin.

Listen to Dave as he examines this first vision and what it teaches us.
